If Longjing and Biluochun embody the crisp freshness of early spring, then the Gu Yu-harvested Lu’an Guapian represents the mellow warmth of late spring. Lu’an Guapian originates from Yu’an District in Lu’an, Qitou Mountain in the Dabie Mountains, and the neighboring areas of Jinzi and Huoshan. Unlike most green teas that use buds, it is the world’s only tea made exclusively from leaves, without stems or buds. The leaves are flat and narrow, resembling melon seeds. In July 1971, this tea was presented as a state gift to the U.S. Secretary of State.

Lushan Cloud and Mist Tea is one of the premier green teas produced in Mount Lushan, Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, named after this renowned mountain.
