How to brew Jin Jun Mei tea

1. Utensil selection

Jin Jun Mei made with tea buds needs to wait until the boiling water cools to 80-90 degrees Celsius before brewing. The first brew is to wash the tea quickly, wash the cup and smell the fragrance. The duration of the first to tenth brews is about: 15 seconds, 25 seconds, 35 seconds, 45 seconds, 1 minute, 1 minute 10 seconds, 1 minute 20 seconds, 1 minute 30 seconds, 2 minutes, 2 minutes 30 seconds.

3. Tea quantity control

It is recommended to put 3 grams of Jin Jun Mei dry tea for more than 12 consecutive brews.

4. Brewing skills

5. Drinking techniques

6. Water quality selection

Use “soft water” with low calcium and magnesium content such as mountain spring water, well water, purified water, etc., and brew with fresh water, colorless and tasteless water with high oxygen content.

7. Purchasing skills

The dry tea of ​​high-quality Jin Jun Mei tea has a pure aroma, with floral and fruity aroma, and the aroma is fresh, elegant and delicate. Inferior tea has peculiar smells such as salty and earthy. In appearance, high-quality dry tea has a unique and uniform color, golden and black, black and yellow, oily and fresh, shiny, white hairs are exposed, the tea leaves are strong and tight, straight and slightly curved, like a seahorse, and are uniform without tea dust and debris.

8. Tips

If you want the tea to be more fragrant, use high temperature and high pouring. High pouring can make the tea leaves fully soaked under the agitation of water, so as to fully develop the color, aroma and taste; if you want the tea to be sweeter, just cool the water for a while, then pour it into the pot carefully, treat the tea leaves gently, and it will be sweeter.

How many times can Jin Jun Mei be brewed?

Generally speaking, ordinary Jin Jun Mei can be brewed six or seven times. And for better and more expensive Jin Jun Mei, it is no problem to brew it ten times. In short, Jin Jun Mei can keep its fragrance until thirteen brews, but the editor recommends brewing it ten times. After all, tea leaves that have been brewed for more than ten times basically have no taste. But if you like to drink very light tea, you can continue to brew it, and the aftertaste is still quite good.

However, how many times Jin Jun Mei can be brewed depends on the amount of tea. If the water is good and still boiling, 3 grams of authentic Jin Jun Mei can be brewed 12 times, and the soup color is still golden and has tea fragrance. It is recommended to brew for 15 seconds for the first brew, 25 seconds for the second brew, 35 seconds for the third brew, 45 seconds for the fourth brew, and 1 minute for the fifth brew. The time for each brew increases by ten seconds, and so on, it will be 1 minute and 30 seconds by the eighth brew. The ninth brew is 2 minutes, and each brew increases by 30 seconds, and it will be 3 minutes and 40 seconds by the twelfth brew! High-quality Wuyishan Jin Jun Mei black tea should be brewed more than 12 times.
