Vintage-Style Yixing Zisha Teapot
This classic Yixing Zhuni teapot features the “Rongtian” vintage design, a timeless style passed down from traditional models of the Ming Dynasty (1522–1795). This era marked the golden age of Zisha teapots, giving rise to numerous iconic teapot designs. Beyond its visual appeal, this vintage-style teapot has undergone centuries of design refinement—every curve, hue, and texture of its body is perfectly realized.
Crafted from Premium Zhuni Clay
Zhuni clay is a rare variety among Yixing Zisha clays. Sourced from ore layers with higher iron content in Yixing’s Zisha mines, it is far finer and denser than regular Zisha clay, with almost no coarse particles. Additionally, Zhuni clay requires extremely precise temperature control during firing, resulting in a much lower handmade yield rate compared to ordinary clays.
Zhuni teapots also deliver the best tea-brewing experience. Their finer, more evenly distributed dual-pore structure not only absorbs unwanted notes from the tea but also locks in the tea’s natural aroma, making the tea’s fragrance richer and more mellow. With regular use, the surface of this Zisha teapot will gradually develop a smooth, lustrous patina—its color will shift from vibrant vermilion to deep jujube red, growing more glossy with each use.
