This handcrafted purple clay teapot set is made by skilled ceramic artisans. It includes one teapot and two teacups, with the teapot holding approximately 125 milliliters and each teacup 50 milliliters. It is ideal for tea sessions for one or two people.
Crafted from Zhuni purple clay, the set features a unique dual porous structure. This structure absorbs unwanted notes in the tea infusion and locks in layered aromas, resulting in a cleaner, more authentic flavor when brewing oolong or pu erh.

Firing of Zisha Tea Wares
The firing process of zisha tea wares demands extremely high levels of experience and technical expertise. The kiln temperature must be strictly controlled within a range of 1100 to 1200℃. Excessively high temperatures will cause the tea wares to blister and deform, while temperatures that are too low will lead to a loose, porous body with the risk of water seepage.
Cracking, kiln debris adhesion, and uneven coloration are frequent defects during firing. Even highly experienced ceramic craftsmen cannot completely avoid the impacts of temperature differences and air flow fluctuations inside the kiln. The yield rate of premium finished products is generally less than 50%.
